Birthday Bags

Every person deserves to feel special on their birthday, but for families experiencing food insecurity, housing instability, or other financial challenges, something as simple as a birthday cake may be difficult to afford.

This year, Aevidum is partnering with Baking a Difference for Kids (BDK) to bring You Matter Birthday Bags to schools. You Matter Birthday Bags help make sure no one’s birthday goes unrecognized. Birthday Bags contain the basic ingredients and supplies needed to make a birthday cake and are distributed to families to ensure everyone knows that they matter on their birthday.

Request Materials (2026-2027 school year only)
For the 2026-2027 school year only, BDK has generously offered to provide supplies for a select number of Aevidum Clubs to complete this campaign without needing to run a drive. Clubs can coordinate with BDK to request supplies directly and then participate in assembling Birthday Bags. This is a great option for clubs that want to participate but don’t have the capacity to organize a full collection drive.
